Butch, was called home to be with the Lord on March 7, 2023. He professed Christ, was baptized at an early age at the New Mount Olive Baptist church. Later joined Glendale Baptist church, currently “The Sanctuary of Kingdom Square”.

He received his education in D.C. where he attended Burrville Elementary, and Merritt Elementary schools. Later when the family relocated to MD, attended Fairmont Heights Elementary school, Highland Park Middle school and graduated from Fairmont Heights High School.

Upon his graduation he enlisted in the DC Army National Guard for 4 years, was employed at Washington Hospital Center as a custodian, where he met Barbara Hill whom he later married and from that union was born Claudette Renee Walls, his only child. Next, he worked at the Government Printing Office where he worked as an apprentice for several years with his father and brothers; from there he worked with his good friend James Alston at Mail O-Matic in several positions. He also worked at Kaiser Permanente as a security guard, and lastly, he worked for Melwood for several years as a Maintenance Engineer where he retired in 2019. After retirement in his spare time, he could be found at Giant food store in Temple Hills MD, providing rides to customers to and from their homes.

Butch was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. His car was decorated in all Cowboys paraphernalia; he was dressed down from head to toe with Cowboys clothes, shoes, and jewelry.

Butch was a quiet soul, stayed to himself, but was always willing to help others. Everyone that he encountered loved him.
