Alberta Elizabeth Davis (Brooker)
Devoted wife and mother
Alberta E. Davis (Mother Davis) entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born in Washington, DC to the late Robert L. Brooker and Alberta R. Broker on October 3, 1936. Alberta Davis was educated in the DC Public School System. Alberta Davis was blessed with a large and loving family. Mother Davis is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bishop Willie James Davis, Senior Pastor of Mt. Calvary Way of the Cross Church in Landover, MD; her children Felicia Davis, Veda Matthews, James O. Davis, Paula Hill, Victoria Davis-Joseph, and Myra Davis. One daughter Cynthia Davis preceded her in death. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, eleven great-grand children, several bonus children, extended family, church family, and friends.
The Celebration of Life for Mother Davis will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Bethel Way of the Cross Church, 5450 Cherry Hill Rd. Huntington, MD 20639.
