Archie Davis, Jr. - a native of Winnsboro, South Carolina was born on October 3, 1958. Archie peacefully transitioned into eternal rest, at his residence, in Northwest Washington, D.C. on February 12, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Archie Davis, Sr.
Archie leaves many fond memories for his family to cherish. He is survived by a loving and devoted mother: Margie Davis, eldest sister: Patricia Long, (Colie) five brothers: Reginald, Christopher (Wendy); Mark (Michelle); Pershing and Eric Johnson (Serena); younger sister, Valencia Johnson. A host of loving nieces and nephews– to include his favorite great niece, Kyra Long. Archie will be deeply missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many of his other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Chapel of JB Jenkins Funeral Home in Landover, Maryland. Viewing: 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm ~ Funeral Services immediately following.
