Obituary for David Abraham Wynn (Dahvv Rayzz)

Dahvv Rayzz was born David Abraham Wynn on June 7, 1997. He was a bright, sunny child, always smiling. He was educated in the DC Public School system and graduated from HD Woodson SHS as Salutatorian in 2015. He subsequently attended Morehouse College where he majored in engineering. David was the baby of the family, the last of fifteen children. He was always cheerful and loved all animals. There was rarely a stray cat that he would not adopt and take care of, and he eventually became a vegetarian to avoid harming any. He enjoyed music, basketball, video games and ramen noodles. He was a young man absolutely willing to support his family when needed and at any time.

Each and every one of his family members has their own stories about David. That was what made him so special. He had the ability to create his own individual bond with each person. When he was with you, you had his undivided attention. He marched to the beat of his own drum with no regard to what anyone thought of him. There was something infectious about him that forced people to pay attention to him and also to care. He was truly loved. His friends, teachers, coworkers, and anyone else he came in contact with will remember his slight smile and nod, and the reminders to stay beautiful.

His speedy walk with the slightly cool dip. Seeing his hair turn the corner before he did, his basketball games with the family, his low chuckle, his dimples, his piano solos during family events, his video gaming sessions with his nephews, all will be missed. He was an artist, genius, musician, philosopher and scholar. Sometimes when the sun sets just right, it feels like he is still with us. He was his own and we loved him for it. Rest well baby. See you when we see you.
