Deborah M Brown (Briscoe), lovingly known as "Deb", was born
on January 9th, 1957 in Washington, DC at Washington Hospital
Center.
MAY
Parents Joseph and Pauline Briscoe, had 11 children with Deborah
being the youngest. She had 6 sisters (Juanita, Theresa, Catherine,
Barbara, Shirley, and Yvonne; and 4 brothers Joseph (aka Sonny),
Jimmy, Allen, and Albert.
She graduated from Francis L. Cardozo High school and went on to
further her education in business administration. She enjoyed
softball, basketball, and going to the house parties with all her
friends. After business school, she gained much experience in the
administrative field, but she really found her niche doing medical
billing and coding. Working at some of the best hospitals in the area,
Deborah retired in the healthcare industry as a Senior Medicare
Specialist with much respect in her field.
On September 17. 1978, she had her first born child Robert
followed by her daughter Taneshia, born February 19th 1987. She
was a wonderful mother and spent most of her time making sure
her children had everything they ever needed. Her favorite thing to
do was Vacation, cruises in particular. She was a Royal Caribbean
Platinum Diamond cruiser. Travel and Reading were her favorite
pastime things to do. In her life, she read hundreds of books.
Deborah was loved by everyone she encountered. Some would
even say she was "everyone's favorite". She leaves behind 2
beautiful children Taneshia and Robert (daughter in law Cathy), 2
grandchildren Olivia (13) and Luv (15), 5 remaining siblings Albert,
Yvonne, Theresa, Catherine, and Barbara, and a large host of
nieces, nephews, cousins, 2 bestfriends Yvonne Devour & Donita
Taylor, and many close friends.
