Since his heart surgery in 1979, Gregory felt thankful for each day God gave him on earth. He used this time to have daring adventures, accumulate a massive number of friends, and ultimately help everyone who crossed his path.

Gregory often recalled the time he felt the Lord’s whisper in his ear. “Get from under that car!” He hesitated, knowing he was alone, then heard the voice again. He rolled from under the car, narrowly missing the engine’s collapse. He knew from then on that everyone has their time. It cannot come any sooner than it is meant to; the Lord makes sure of that.

And so, on July 25, 2022, in the comfort of his home, Gregory’s time had come. His heart remained full to the very end. Full of fun, generosity, kindness, determination, and love.
