Gregory “Greg” Eugene Harris was born on January 2, 1955 in Washington, D.C. He entered into eternal rest on March 23, 2022 at home. Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Harris.
Greg was married to Karen C. Harris in 1989 and one child was born of that union, Randall Everett Harris.
Greg grew up and attended schools throughout the Washington Metropolitan area. He worked various jobs including Washington Hospital Center as security, Circuit City, Pepco, before settling and retiring from Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (“Metro”) in 2021. Greg loved to grill and enjoyed his music, especially jazz and old school. He also was taking up singing and guitar lessons.
Greg leaves to cherish his memory: wife Karen Harris, son Randall Harris, sister Cheryl Hubbard, three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, a longtime friend Angela McFadden, and a host of other relatives and friends.
