On January 7, 2023, Jonah Hendricks Jr. passed away at Villa Rosa Nursing Home after a long term illness. Jonah was born to the late Lizzieanna and Jonah Hendricks, Sr. in Eppes Fork, Va on September 18, 1947. As a young adult, he relocated to Maryland where he spent the rest of his life.
Jonah had a love for cars and drove a tow truck for his brother-in-law for many years. He specifically loved the Ford Mustang and loved taking long rides in them, loved good food and watching his favorite television shows in his spare time.
He was preceded In death by his mother and father, Lizzieanna and Jonah Hendricks, Sr., three sisters, Gertrude Sylver, Susie Forbes and Sally Proctor.
He is survived by one brother, Charles Hendricks, two sons, Scotty Hendricks, Jonah Raymond Richardson, one daughter, Patricia Richardson Naran (Tom), 7 grandchildren, Lexis, Jonah and Bianca Richardson, Natalie, Avery, Ethan, and Eric Naran, along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
