Obituary for Kenneth Faunteroy
Kenneth“Kenny”Faunteroy – husband, father, grandfather and friend of many transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 30th, 2022 at the age of 72 at GW University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Kenny was born on February 28, 1950, to the late F. Harvey Faunteroy and late Charlie Mae Coates.
Kenny was a faithful member of the Spirit of Christ Missionary Baptist Church where he was introduced by his big sister Jean and served for 29 years. Kenny served in numerous ministries within the church including Usher Board, Male Chorus, Sanctuary Choir where he displayed his beautiful bass tone voice. He also served on Outreach and many missionary activities. Kenny loved reading his Bible and was faithful to the mid-week Bible Study.
Kenny leaves to cherish his beautiful memories by his ex-wife, Consuello, son Kenneth (Soul) (3) Sisters Diane, Darlene, Karen, (5) Brothers Ronald, Harvey (Tony), Francis, Gary, and Wayne, as well as a host of special cousins, nieces, nephews, countless family members and friends.
