On the morning of Monday, October 10, 2022, Lamont Turner departed this life to be with his Heavenly Father.
Lamont was preceded in death by his brothers Thomas Turner and Norman Turner, sisters Jean Lawson and Gayle Turner.
Lamont's memory will be forever cherished by his loving and devoted wife Sandra, two daughters - LaShawn Turner, LaTrice Andrews, son - Lamont Turner, Jr.; six grandchildren - Juan Drew, LaToya Drew, Erie Drew, Earl Andrews, Jr., Blake Andrews, Kayla Turner; four great-grandchildren - Juan Yates, Kiara Yates, Kyah Swann, Kaleb Coleman-Drew; one great great-grandchild - Kylee Yates; brothers - Lloyd Turner (Cheryl), Howard Turner (Connie), Darryl Turner, Carl Turner, Brian Turner; sisters - Olivia Nixon (Carl), Bernadette Grimes (Douglas); brothers-in-law Maurice Lawson, Ollie Parks, Jr.; sister-in-law Mildred Turner, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held On Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 9:30 AM until Service at 10:30 AM, at J. B. Jenkins Funeral Home, Interment at National Harmony Memorial Park.
