Obituary for Linwood Thomas Binford Jr.
On Monday, November 7, 2022, our beloved Linwood T. Binford Jr. was called home to be with the Lord after a long illness. Linwood will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Linwood was preceded in death by his daughter Linda D. Reese and son Linwood T. Binford III. Linwood is survived by his wife Daisy T. Binford, two daughters Pam B. Fryer and Leah Pearson, two sons Robert T. Binford Sr. (Coleen) and Michael A. Binford Sr. A devoted sister-in-law, Marian Adams. Two nieces Jane Hillary and Joan Guilford and one nephew Jerome Guilford Jr. Six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. A host of cousins and friends.
Linwood T. Binford Jr. will lie in state at First Baptist Church of Highland Park, 6801 Sherriff Road, Landover, Maryland, 20785 on Monday, December 5, 2022. Viewing from 10am until 11am services at 11am. Dr. Henry P. Davis III, officiating. Interment on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 10:30 am at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD 20623
