Obituary for Louis Parker Tribble

Louis Parker Tribble (Jack) was born September 22, 1940 in Anderson County, South Carolina to the late Parker Tribble and Iva Lee Robinson. After moving to Hampton Virginia at an early age. Jack attended Greenbriar elementary school and graduated from George P Phoenix high school in 1960. Jack worked various jobs before being drafted into the US Army in 1966. While in the army, Jack served two tours in Vietnam as a combat infantryman in the 4th Division. Later, he was a member of the 3rd infantry (TheOld Guard) retiring in 1987 with the rank of Sergeant First Class. He met Juanita after Vietnam and they married later in 1984. Jack loved playing and watching golf (Tiger Woods), playing numbers, reading the Washington Post, fishing, bowling, and played a weekly Bid whist and Spades games with best friends well over twenty years. His wife Juanita of 37 years preceded him in death by 4 months. Jack leaves to cherish his memories two brothers; Clarence Tribble of Delaware and Samuel Shird ( Sandy) of

Delaware. His siblings that Preceded him in death Willis Lee Tribble, Dorothy Peterson, Dora Tribble and Ward Dean Tribble. He also leaves behind daughters Tonia Jones (Earl) of Clinton Maryland, Nadine Hallums (Terry) of Brightwood Virginia and Brenda Proctor of Washington DC. Twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. And a host of nieces , nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
