On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, Ramon Girard Whitfield of Upper Marlboro, MD passed on to Glory suddenly after an illness. He is survived by his wife, Elsie M. Hubbard-Whitfield, his son, Darnell Whitfield, & step sons, Michael Hubbard & Darren Hubbard (Amy); grandchildren, Darnell Whitfield, Jr; Lauren Bailey Hubbard, Miles Jeffrey Hubbard, sister, Chantel Whitfield; brothers, Lorenzo Whitfield (Elizabeth deceased) and Alvah Whitfield (Viola); sister-in-law, Frances Dixon (Clevester deceased); brothers-in-law, Jim Younger (Queen) and Willie Henry Younger (Marilyn) He is preceded indeath by his father, Willie Roscoe and mother, Senora Elizabeth Whitfield. He also leaves to celebrate his life cousins, Thomas & Gracie Vines and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the City of Praise Family Ministries' Main Sanctuary, 8501 Jericho City Drive,Landover, MD 20785 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and the Homegoing Service will follow immediately at 11:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
Interment at the Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD
