Wesley Lee Chavis dies at 87 years old. He was born to Claude and Annie Chavis on December 12, 1934. He had one sister the belated Esdelia Gathers. Wesley survived by his children Kathy Chavis, Wesley Lee Chavis, Jr and Zoe Chavis. Granddaughter in-law Regina Ballard. Grandchildren Martes Ballard, Michael Torrence, Maurice Thomas, Malik Artis, Tiffany Chavis Wesley Norman Chavis, great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and a longtime friend of twenty years Elise Lewis.
